4 Gold Medals at the Irish Whiskey Masters

We are very proud to announce that our brands The Irishman and Writers’ Tears premium Irish whiskey took home 4 Gold medals in the very competitive Irish Whiskey Masters Competition!

Both brands performed incredibly well and took home gold in their categories. Writers’ Tears won two gold medals in the super premium blended Irish Whiskey category for Double Oak and Cask Strength, while The Irishman won gold in the super premium single malt and blended categories for Single Malt Marsala Cask and Cask Strength.

Blended Super Premium – Writers’ Tears Double Oak. Writers’ Tears Double Oak is created using a unique combination of two casks, American Oak Casks from Kentucky and French Oak Cognac Casks from France.

Blended Super Premium – Writers’ Tears Cask Strength 2021. It is a unique cask strength whiskey crafted through a rare vatting of aged Single Pot Still and Single Malt Whiskey. Both whiskeys are triple distilled, natural non-chill filtered and aged in Bourbon barrels.

Blended Super Premium – The Irishman Cask Strength 2021. The Irishman Vintage Cask is a unique marriage of Aged Single Malt & Aged Single Pot Still, matured in first-fill bourbon casks, non chill-filtered and bottled at 54.8% ABV.

Single Malt Super Premium – The Irishman Single Malt Marsala. This sumptuous Single Malt is finished for an additional 15 months in hand selected Marsala Hogsheads from the beautiful Florio winery in Sicily.
