Sweny’s Pharmacy Dublin & Writers' Tears

In light of the current Covid-19 crisis, now more than ever Writers’ Tears continues to pledge support to Swenys Pharmacy (Dublin, Ireland) which is one of the most celebrated venues featured in James Joyce’s epic novel, Ulysses. Writers’ Tears premium Irish whiskey provides financial and other support to Sweny’s, which was already under threat of closure from rising rent and has had to close temporarily during the Covid-19 lockdown.

The readings take place on Tuesdays (Finnegan’s Wake), Thursdays (Ulysses) & Saturdays (Dubliners) at 7pm Irish & British Standard Time (IST/BST); +1 GMT.
